Refund Policy

Each event's organizer sets the refund policy for its tickets; purchases from Conclade itself, such as prepaid ticket inventory, are refundable up to 48 hours before the event.

Effective date: August 7, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work on conclade.com and the related services we provide (the "Service"), operated by Conclade.com ("Conclade", "we", "us"). It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Event tickets: the organizer's policy governs

Every event has its own refund policy, set by the organizer of that event, and that policy governs refunds for tickets to it. This page does not override, replace, or add to it.

If you bought a ticket to an event and want a refund, ask that event's organizer, under the policy shown for that event. Conclade does not run the events on the Service, does not set their refund terms, and does not issue refunds on an organizer's behalf. The same is true when an organizer cancels an event: refunds to attendees are the organizer's responsibility.

All prices on the Service are in US dollars.

2. Cancelling

Cancelling your registration is not the same as a refund. Where an organizer allows it, cancelling gives up your seat — it does not by itself return any money, and the event's own refund policy still governs whether a refund is due. Some events do not allow self-cancellation at all, and none allow it once the event has begun; in either case, ask the organizer.

If the organizer cancels the event, refunds to attendees are that organizer's responsibility, under their policy for it.

3. Purchases from Conclade

This policy covers what an event organizer buys from Conclade itself — chiefly prepaid ticket inventory, the pool of tickets an organizer buys up front to fund attendance at their own event.

Refund window. A purchase from Conclade is refundable up to 48 hours before the event starts, and not after.

Used tickets are not refundable. A ticket that has already been used to access the Service is not refundable, including inside the 48-hour window. A ticket is used once the person holding it has used it to get into the event — most concretely, joining a video conference for that event. A refund of prepaid inventory therefore covers only the tickets in it that are still unused.

Fees. Prepaid inventory is priced as a flat platform fee per ticket, and the refund window above governs it. A platform or service fee charged on an attendee's ticket purchase is part of that transaction rather than a purchase from us, so that event's refund policy governs it.

4. How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your Conclade account, naming the event and the purchase. Requests are reviewed by hand; the Service has no self-serve refund control. An approved refund is returned to the original payment method through our payment processor, and how soon it appears is up to your bank or card issuer.

5. Disputes and chargebacks

Write to us or to the event's organizer before you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. Most disputes are a charge someone did not recognize — a ticket appears on a statement under the organizer's name, not ours — and we can usually identify it the same day.

A dispute you raise with your card issuer is decided by the card network, not by us or by the organizer, and it takes considerably longer than a refund. We will provide the network with the record of the purchase and of the policy in force when it was made. If you disagree with our answer or an organizer's, disputing the charge remains your right; we ask only that you ask first.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. The version in effect when you made a purchase governs that purchase.
